El que mas me intereso  es sobre el tema de :Antibióticoprofilaxis donde nos dicen que la cefalosporina de primera generación (cefalotina) 2 g en el momento de la inducción anestésica y posteriormente 1 g cada 8 h por vía intravenosa, la cual es sustituida por vancomicina (500 mg cada 12 h por vía intravenosa) cuando hay alergia demostrada a la penicilina o cefalosporinas.

En el wiki apuntes profesionales podremos encontrar una selección de artículos médicos relacionados a patologías de la especialidad de Cirugía Torácica y Cardiovascular. También encontraremos links al PUBMED, a un manual de cómo realizar búsquedas y a otros buscadores médicos.
Dentro de los puntos interesantes que toman son corazón, temas de cirugía, vascular, tórax y artículos de pubmed.
Dentro de los artículos encontré uno que me llamo la atención que es: 
Cirugía cardiaca sin sangre en testigos de Jehová
Se empleó Eritropoyetina 300-500 U/kg cada 24 h durante 7 días si el hematocrito < 36% y 3 días tras la cirugía junto con tratamiento férrico oral o intravenoso. En esta wiki podemos encontrar una nueva alternativa sobre un nuevo tratamiento de las várices que consiste en impedir el flujo a través de las safenas, de las tributarias, de las colaterales y de las perforantes. El beneficio de la sección de las venas varicosas y colateales con la tijera de Metsenbaun introducidas por una mínima incisión (Técnica de Cook) es que no produce riesgo de formación de grandes hematomas, Esto es corroborado por nuestra amplia experiencia durante las safenectomías con la técnica de Stripping.

Encontre un articulo de interes: REMI 1727. Sistema de puntuación para predecir microorganismos resistentes en la neumonía extrahospitalaria

Trata de sobre una evaluacion de  todos los pacientes ingresados por urgencias durante un año con neumonía bacteriana, para evaluar el valor predictivo de MR(microorganismos resistentes) de un sistema de puntuación previamente diseñado en el mismo centro , y se comparo con los criterios de definición de NACS("neumonía asociada a los cuidados de la salud" ). Se incluyeron 977 episodios de neumonía bacteriana; el 77,5% cumplían al menos un criterio de NACS, y el 46,7% estaban causadas por MR. Los microorganismos más frecuentemente aislados fueron SARM (22,7%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (19,1%), Streptococcus pneumoniae (19,1%), Staphylococcus aureus sensible a meticilina  (14,1%) y Haemophilus influenzae (8,0%). Los pacientes con MR requirieron ingreso en UCI y ventilación mecánica con mayor frecuencia, y presentaban más criterios de NACS. Una mayor puntuación se asoció a un mayor riesgo de presentar MR. El sistema de puntuación (más de 0 puntos) se mostró superior a la definición de NACS (uno o más criterios) para predecir la presencia de MR.
